## Biography

Evelyn Rack is a Berlin-based film editor whose work includes both fiction and documentary features. She edited Mascha Schilinski’s *Sound of Falling* (2025, also known as *In die Sonne schauen*), which premiered in competition at the Cannes Film Festival and shared the Jury Prize.

Her other credits include *We Might as Well Be Dead* (2022), which opened the Perspektive Deutsches Kino section at the Berlinale, *Ararat* (2023) and *Drifter* (2023, additional editing), both of which screened at the Berlinale, and the documentary *House with a Voice* (2024). She participated in Berlinale Talents in 2023 as a Perspektive Match Talent and received a nomination for the Heiner Carow Prize for Best Editing.

Rack is a member of the European Film Academy and the British Film Editors (BFE). She has also contributed to several television projects and shorter films.
