## Biography

Everardo Gout, also credited as Everardo Valerio Gout, is a Mexican film and television director, writer and producer. He made his feature debut with the thriller *Days of Grace* (2011), which he also wrote; the film premiered at Cannes and won eight Ariel awards, including for best first feature.

Gout has directed episodes of series including *The Terror* (2019), *Mars* (2016–2018), *Snowpiercer* (2020), *Kaleidoscope* (2023) and *The Chosen One* (2023). He directed the feature *The Forever Purge* (2021). He is the brother of director and producer Leopoldo Gout.
