## Biography

Fabian Gamper is a Swiss cinematographer. He studied film at the Zurich University of the Arts and cinematography at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. He began working as a second camera assistant before taking on feature credits.

His early feature work includes *Dark Blue Girl* (2017). He has collaborated repeatedly with director Mascha Schilinski, to whom he is married, on films including *Sound of Falling* (2025). Other credits include *Viva Forever* (2021) and *Der Junge dem die Welt gehört* (2024).

Gamper received the Silver Frog at the 2025 EnergaCAMERIMAGE festival and the Bavarian Film Award and German Film Award for Best Cinematography for *Sound of Falling*. The film premiered in competition at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
