## Biography

Fele Martínez, born Rafael Martínez, is a Spanish actor. He trained at the RESAD drama school in Madrid and began his career in theatre with the group Sex-Peare.

Martínez gained prominence with his debut role as Chema in Alejandro Amenábar’s *Thesis* (1996), for which he won the Goya Award for Best New Actor. He played Pelayo in Amenábar’s *Open Your Eyes* (1997) and has appeared in films including *Lovers of the Arctic Circle* (1998), *Bad Education* (2004) and *Talk to Her* (2002), as well as the series *Alpha Males* (2022).

He has also directed and written short films and received further awards, including an Iris Award for *Alpha Males*.
