## Biography

Fernando Argüelles, ASC AEC is a Spanish cinematographer. Born in the Asturias region, he moved to Madrid at a young age and co-founded the production company Los Films del Oasis. He trained at the Centro de Instrucción Comercial e Industrial, the University of Image Sciences and Universidad Complutense de Madrid before receiving a Fulbright Scholarship to study at the American Film Institute, where he earned an MFA in Cinematography.

Argüelles’s credits include the television series *Prison Break* (2006–2009), *Grimm*, *Hemlock Grove*, *Scorpion*, *Fear the Walking Dead* and *Swamp Thing*, as well as the films *The Princess Switch: Switched Again* (2020) and *The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star* (2021). He is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers, the Spanish Society of Cinematographers (AEC) and other professional organisations, and serves as Co-Chair of the Vision Program at the ASC.
