Fiona Cumming (9 October 1937 – 1 January 2015) was a Scottish television director. She began her career as an actress, training at the Royal Scottish Academy, before moving into production roles at the BBC in the mid-1960s. She worked as an assistant floor manager and production assistant on several *Doctor Who* serials during the 1960s and 1970s.

Cumming became a staff director at the BBC in 1974. Her credits included episodes of *Z-Cars*, *Angels*, *The Omega Factor* and *Blake's 7*. She directed four *Doctor Who* stories during the Fifth Doctor era: *Castrovalva* (1982), *Snakedance* (1983), *Enlightenment* (1983) and *Planet of Fire* (1984). She later worked freelance on series including *Take the High Road*.
