## Biography

Florence Arliss (née Montgomery, also credited as Florence Kate Montgomery) was an English actress. Born in London on 29 July 1870, she married actor George Arliss in 1899 and frequently appeared alongside him on stage and in films.

Her screen credits include Lady Beaconsfield in both the 1921 and 1929 versions of *Disraeli*, as well as roles in *The Millionaire* (1931), *The King's Vacation* (1933) and *The House of Rothschild* (1934). She retired from acting after 1934 and died in Paddington, London, on 12 March 1950.
