Florence Short (19 May 1889 – 10 July 1946) was an American actress. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of actor Lew Short and a cousin of actress Blanche Sweet. She appeared in numerous silent films and had a stage career that included several Broadway productions.

Short is credited as The Eccentric Aunt in D. W. Griffith’s *Way Down East* (1920). Other film roles include appearances in *Love, Honor and --?* (1919), *The Idol Dancer* (1920), *Lessons in Love* (1921), *The Lights of New York* (1922) and *The Enchanted Cottage* (1924). She died in Los Angeles, California.
