Floyd Mutrux is an American writer, director, producer and screenwriter. He began his film career with an uncredited contribution to the screenplay for *Two-Lane Blacktop* (1971).

His subsequent credits include the story for *Freebie and the Bean* (1974) and writing and directing *Aloha, Bobby and Rose* (1975) and *The Hollywood Knights* (1980). He wrote the screenplays for *American Me* (1992) and *Blood In Blood Out* (1993), and the story for *Mulholland Falls* (1996). Mutrux has also written and directed Broadway musicals, including *Million Dollar Quartet* (2010) and *Baby It's You!* (2009).
