## Biography

Folco Lulli (3 July 1912 – 23 May 1970) was an Italian actor. Born in Florence, he was the elder brother of actor Piero Lulli. He appeared in more than 100 films between 1946 and 1970, as well as working in theatre and on television.

After the Second World War, during which he served as a partisan, Lulli was discovered by director Alberto Lattuada and made his screen debut in *The Bandit* (1946). He played Luigi in Henri-Georges Clouzot's *The Wages of Fear* (1953). In 1964 he received the Nastro d'Argento for best supporting actor for his performance in Mario Monicelli's *The Organizer* (1963). He also directed the 1967 film *Gente d'onore*.
