Francesca Di Mottola is a production designer. Born in Brazil and raised in Italy, she is based in the United Kingdom. She began her career as a draftsperson on films including *Cold Mountain* (2003) and *Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street* (2007), before her first production design credit on Luca Guadagnino’s *I Am Love* (2009).

Her credits include *The Ones Below* (2016), *Dark Crimes* (2016) and all three seasons of the series *The Great* (2020–2023). She has also designed commercials and music videos, winning a UK Music Video Award for King Krule’s “Biscuit Town”. For *The Great* she received an Emmy nomination and an Art Directors Guild Award. Recent work includes *Mother Mary* (2026).
