## Biography

Francis Kenny is an American cinematographer. He began his career in documentary filmmaking after meeting filmmaker David Hoffman at Hofstra University, later working as a documentary cameraman and editor. He served as camera operator on the feature Desperately Seeking Susan before moving into features as director of photography.

Kenny's credits include Heathers (1989), New Jack City (1991), Coneheads (1993), Wayne's World 2 (1993), Bean (1997), A Night at the Roxbury (1998), She's All That (1999) and Scary Movie (2000). He has also worked extensively in television, including on the series Justified and S.W.A.T. He is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers and received its President's Award in 2012.
