## Biography

Franck Barcellini was a French composer. He was born François Barcellini on 11 May 1920 in Lyon and died on 16 October 2012 in Saint-Nazaire.

He composed the score for Jacques Tati's *Mon Oncle* (1958), in collaboration with Alain Romans. His other film credits include *Auguste* (1961), *Couche-moi dans le sable et fais jaillir ton pétrole...* (1975) and *Les bidasses au pensionnat* (1978). Barcellini also wrote for the theatre and for chanson artists including Michèle Torr and Georgette Lemaire.
