## Biography

François Séguin is a Canadian production designer, art director and set decorator. Born in Montreal in 1951, he studied set design at Collège Lionel-Groulx and began his career working on theatre productions in Montreal.

He has worked on numerous films and television series. His credits include production design on *Jesus of Montreal* (1989), *The Red Violin* (1998), *Brooklyn* (2015) and *The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones* (2013), and on the series *Carnival Row* (2019). Séguin has received multiple Genie Awards for art direction and production design, as well as other honours including Jutra and Directors Guild of Canada awards.
