## Biography

Frank Baker (1892–1980) was an Australian-American actor and stuntman. Born in Melbourne, Victoria, he began his career in Australia in 1912 before moving to Hollywood, where he appeared in numerous films from the silent era onwards.

He was a member of the John Ford stock company and featured in 17 of the director's films. Baker frequently took uncredited roles as extras or bit players, including in *The Graduate* (1967), *The Sound of Music* (1965), *My Fair Lady* (1964), *The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance* (1962), *All About Eve* (1950) and *Doctor Dolittle* (1967). He also worked in television and as a stunt performer.
