## Biography

Frank Cavestani is an American actor. He was raised in New York City and won a scholarship to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. His professional career began after projects with the New York Actors Studio; he took over the lead role in the play "Days of the Dancing" by James Bridges, starring Shelley Winters, after the original actor broke his leg.

Cavestani is known for supporting roles in films including *The China Syndrome* (1979) as a news reporter, *Born on the Fourth of July* (1989) as Vet #3, *A Few Good Men* (1992) as Agent #1, *Apollo 13* (1995) as a reporter and *The American President* (1995) as a Rumson staffer. He was also credited as Cop in *Shattered* (1991). He was instrumental in the founding of the LA Weekly newspaper.
