Frank Davis (1897–1984) was an American screenwriter and film producer. Born in Chicago, he worked in Hollywood from the 1920s onwards, writing screenplays and contributing to story and dialogue for numerous features.

His credits include the screenplay for *Dance, Girl, Dance* (1940), co-written with Tess Slesinger, to whom he was married; *A Tree Grows in Brooklyn* (1945); *The Woman on the Beach* (1947); *Springfield Rifle* (1952); *The Indian Fighter* (1955); and *The Train* (1964). He also produced several films in the 1930s, including *It's a Wonderful World* (1939) and *Lord Jeff* (1938). Davis received two Academy Award nominations for his screenwriting.
