## Biography

Frank Lamm is a German cinematographer. Born in Bad Arolsen in 1979, he grew up in Korbach and studied mediadesign at the University of Applied Sciences Mainz before attending the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg from 2002. He graduated in 2008 with the film *Novemberkind*, directed by Christian Schwochow, with whom he has maintained a long collaboration.

Lamm’s feature credits include *Paula* (2016), *The German Lesson* (2019) and *Munich: The Edge of War* (2021). On television he has served as director of photography on episodes of *The Crown* (2019–2022), three episodes of the series *Andor* (2022) and three episodes of *Bait* (2026). He has received the Bavarian Film Prize for cinematography on *The German Lesson* and the German Television Prize for *Die Täter – Heute ist nicht alle Tage* (2016).
