Frank Lawton (also credited as Frank Lawton Mokeley) was an English actor born in London in 1904 and who died in London in 1969. The son of stage players, he made his first major screen appearance in *Young Woodley* (1930).

He is known for his role as Joe Marryot in *Cavalcade* (1933), the adult David Copperfield in *David Copperfield* (1935), and Chairman J. Bruce Ismay in *A Night to Remember* (1958). Other notable film credits include *The Skin Game* (1931), *The Devil-Doll* (1936), *The Invisible Ray* (1936) and *Went the Day Well?* (1942). He also worked extensively in theatre and on television, and appeared alongside his wife, actress Evelyn Laye, in several productions.
