## Biography

Frank Losee (12 June 1856 – 14 November 1937) was an American stage and screen actor. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was a veteran of the Broadway stage before beginning work in silent films in 1915.

He appeared in numerous silent features, including *Orphans of the Storm* (1921) as Count de Linieres. Losee often played the father of leading actresses such as Mary Pickford, Pauline Frederick and Marguerite Clark. His wife was the actress Marion Elmore.
