## Biography

Frank Pugliese is an American television writer and playwright. He wrote an episode of the series *Law & Order* (2005) and contributed multiple episodes as writer and producer to *House of Cards* (2013–2018), serving as co-showrunner from 2017.

Pugliese won a Writers Guild of America Award for the *Homicide: Life on the Street* episode "Night of the Dead Living" (1993). His other television writing credits include episodes of *Copper* (2012–2013) and *Borgia* (2011–2014). He also wrote the screenplay for the film *The Drowning* (2016).

As a playwright, his works include *Aven'U Boys*, which received an Obie Award. He has served as artistic director of Naked Angels theatre company.
