Fred Bronson (born 10 January 1949) is an American writer and journalist. He wrote the Star Trek: The Animated Series episode "The Counter-Clock Incident" (1974) under the pseudonym John Culver while employed as an NBC publicist on the series.

Bronson co-wrote two episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation with Susan Sackett: "Ménage à Troi" (1990) and the story for "The Game" (1991). He had earlier introduced Sackett to Gene Roddenberry.

He has written extensively on popular music charts and contributed to numerous television music specials.
