## Biography

Fred Chandler is a film producer and post-production executive. He served as producer on the 1993 documentary *It's All True: Based on an Unfinished Film by Orson Welles*.

While director of technical services at Paramount Pictures, Chandler discovered approximately 300 cans of previously lost nitrate footage from Orson Welles's 1942 project in a studio vault in 1985. He arranged for its donation to the American Film Institute and contributed to its preservation and use in the documentary.
