## Biography

Freddy Syborn is a British writer and director for television and film. He co-created the BBC comedy series *Bad Education* (2012–) with Jack Whitehall, writing multiple episodes across its run and the feature film *The Bad Education Movie* (2015); he later directed and executive-produced series four and five and associated specials.

Syborn created and wrote the thriller series *Ragdoll* (2021) for AMC and Alibi. He has written episodes of *Sex Education* (2019), *Killing Eve* (2019), *Ms. Marvel* (2022), *All Creatures Great & Small* (2020) and *Wolfe* (2021). He co-wrote the feature *Old Boys* (2018) and created the comedy-drama *Bounty Hunters* (2017–2019) with Whitehall. Earlier credits include writing for panel shows and the sitcom *Cockroaches* (2015). He has also directed shorts, including the award-winning *Capital* (2019), and written stage plays.
