## Biography

Frédéric Bodson was a Belgian actor, also credited as Pit. Born in Liège in 1948, he appeared in several films by the Dardenne brothers, including *Rosetta* (1999) as the Head of Personnel, *La Promesse* (1996) as the Garage Boss, and *The Child* (2005) as the older bandit.

He had earlier worked in comedy, appearing in and writing for television series such as *Collaricocoshow* (1987) and *Collaroshow* (1981) under the name Pit Vankergueluff. Bodson also took roles in other films including *Carne* (1991) as a TV preacher and television series such as *The Little Murders of Agatha Christie* (2009). He died in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, in 2018.
