## Biography

Frederick Worlock (14 December 1886 – 1 August 1973) was an English-American actor. He made his stage début in 1906 in *Henry V* in Bristol and appeared in four productions in London before moving to the United States in the 1920s. He performed in Broadway productions between 1923 and 1954.

From 1938 to 1966 he appeared as a supporting actor in films including *Man Hunt*, *Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde* (1941), *How Green Was My Valley* (1941), *Spartacus* (1960) and *One Hundred and One Dalmatians* (1961), in which he voiced Horace and Inspector Craven. He also featured in several of the Sherlock Holmes films starring Basil Rathbone in the 1940s.

Worlock was married to actress Elsie Ferguson from 1924 to 1930. He died in Woodland Hills, California.
