Frederik de Groot is a Dutch actor. He was born on 23 May 1946 in Bilthoven and graduated from the Amsterdamse Toneelschool in 1972. He made his television debut in 1973.

De Groot has appeared in Dutch films including *Pastorale 1943* (1978) and *A Question of Silence* (1982), and in television series such as *De Fabriek* (1981–1982), *Bureau Kruislaan* (1992–1995) and *Unit 13* (1996–1999). He had a guest role as Olaf Schram in the British series *Dempsey and Makepeace* (1986). He has also worked as a voice actor, including as the Dutch voice of Lord Voldemort in the *Harry Potter* films.

He has been married to Marja Bakker since 1997 and they own the theatre production company Living Productions in Hoorn. Their daughter Genevieve Gaunt is an actress.
