## Biography

Fredi Devas is a British director and producer of wildlife documentaries. He began his career as a researcher on *Frozen Planet* (2011) and as assistant producer on *Wild Arabia* (2013).

Devas directed and produced episodes of *Planet Earth II* (2016), including the “Cities” instalment, and later directed episodes of *Seven Worlds, One Planet* (2019) and *Planet Earth III* (2023). He has also directed *Antarctica* (2020) and the feature documentary *How to Live on Earth* (2026).

He has received Emmy nominations for his work. His father is an architect, which informed his approach to filming urban wildlife.
