## Biography

Fredrik Wenzel is a Swedish cinematographer, director, editor and screenwriter. He served as director of photography on Ruben Östlund's *Force Majeure* (2014), *The Square* (2017) and *Triangle of Sadness* (2022).

Wenzel has also worked as director of photography on Luca Guadagnino's *We Are Who We Are* (2020) and Julio Torres's *Problemista* (2024). He has directed, written and edited several films, including co-directing *Burrowing* (2009, also known as *Man tänker sitt*) with Henrik Hellström and contributing to *Falkenberg Farewell* (2006).

He has received the Guldbagge Award for Best Cinematography for *Force Majeure* and *The Square*, as well as the Sven Nykvist Cinematography Award.
