Fredro Starr is an American actor and rapper. Born Fred Lee Scruggs Jr. on 18 April 1971 in Queens, New York, he is a founding member of the hardcore rap group Onyx.

He made his screen debut in the 1993 HBO film *Strapped* and appeared as Go in Spike Lee's *Clockers* (1995). Subsequent film roles include *Save the Last Dance* (2001) and *Torque* (2004). Television credits encompass *Moesha*, *The Wire* and *NYPD Blue*.
