## Biography

Fu Chong (also credited as 符冲) is a Chinese actor and voice actor born in Shanghai in 1957. He graduated from the acting department of the Shanghai Theatre Academy in 1982 and has been affiliated with the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre (formerly the Shanghai Youth Drama Troupe).

He is known for his role as Nie Er in Stanley Kwan’s biographical film *Center Stage* (1991), also released as *Ruan Lingyu*. His other screen credits include the film *Exile University* (*流亡大学*, 1984) and various television and stage productions. He has also worked extensively as a voice actor in animation, games and dubbed foreign films and series.
