## Biography

Gail McMullen is a costume designer whose credits include both feature films and television series. She served as costume designer on the HBO series *Six Feet Under* (2001–2002), working on 23 episodes.

Earlier in her career she worked as assistant costume designer on films including *Candyman* (1992) and *The Grifters* (1990). She has also received solo costume design credits on *Jolene* (2008), *Ringmaster* (1998), *The Locusts* (1997) and *The Whole Wide World* (1996).

McMullen received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Costumes for a Series in 2002 for her work on *Six Feet Under*, and was nominated by the Costume Designers Guild for Excellence in Costume Design for Television – Contemporary in 2002 and 2003.
