Galo Olivares is a Mexican cinematographer. He trained at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica in Mexico City.

Olivares served as director of photography on *Alien: Romulus* (2024) and *Gretel & Hansel* (2020). He worked as a camera operator on *Roma* (2018), directed by Alfonso Cuarón, and as director of photography on the Oscar-nominated short *Saria* (2019).
