## Biography

Garrick Bernard is a writer, actor and stand-up comedian. He has written for the animated series *Rick and Morty* (Season 9), *Solar Opposites* (staff writer and executive story editor) and *Star Trek: Lower Decks* (writer, story editor and executive story editor). Earlier credits include staff writer on the series *Broke*.

Bernard is based in Los Angeles. His parents immigrated from Trinidad and raised him in the city. He has also acted in series including *Single Drunk Female* and performed stand-up comedy, including hosting a monthly show in Los Angeles. He was named one of Comedy Central’s Up Next Comics.
