Gary Basaraba (born 16 March 1959) is a Canadian actor. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, he graduated from the Yale School of Drama in 1982.

He played Sheriff Grady Kilgore in *Fried Green Tomatoes* (1991) and has collaborated three times with Martin Scorsese, appearing as Saint Andrew in *The Last Temptation of Christ* (1988), Frank 'Fitz' Fitzsimmons in *The Irishman* (2019) and Detective Burns in *Killers of the Flower Moon* (2023). On television he has played Sergeant Richard Santoro in *Brooklyn South* (1997–1998) and Officer Ray Hechler in *Boomtown* (2002–2003). Other film roles include Jack Grainger in *One Magic Christmas* (1985), Homer Zuckerman in *Charlotte's Web* (2006) and the voice of Hefty Smurf in *The Smurfs* (2011).
