## Biography

Gary Freeman is a British production designer. He began his career in the art department, working as an assistant art director and supervising art director on films including *Saving Private Ryan* (1998), *Lara Croft: Tomb Raider* (2001), *Children of Men* (2006), *Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street* (2007) and *Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time* (2010).

Freeman moved into production design with *Maleficent* (2014). Subsequent credits include *Everest* (2015), *Allied* (2016), *Tomb Raider* (2018), *Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle* (2018), *The Witches* (2020), *Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One* (2023) and *Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning* (2025). He has received two wins and sixteen nominations for his work.
