Gary Glasberg was an American television writer and producer. Born in New York City on 15 July 1966, he began his career writing for animated series including *Rugrats* (1992) and *Mighty Morphin Power Rangers* (1993), before moving into live-action drama.

His credits include episodes of *Crossing Jordan* (2001–2004), *Bones* (2006–2007), *Shark* (2007), *The Mentalist* (2008–2009) and *NCIS* (2009–2016). He served as showrunner on *NCIS* from 2011 and created the spin-off *NCIS: New Orleans* (2014). Glasberg died in Los Angeles on 28 September 2016. He was married to writer Mimi Schmir.
