Gary Jones is a director, screenwriter, producer and visual effects supervisor. He made his directorial debut with the 1994 science fiction film *Mosquito*.

Jones has directed episodes of the television series *Xena: Warrior Princess* (1996), *Hercules: The Legendary Journeys* (1997), *Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show* (1998) and *Sheena* (2001). His feature films include *Spiders* (2000), *Crocodile 2: Death Swamp* (2002), *Boogeyman 3* (2008), selected by Sam Raimi and Sony Pictures, *Ballistica* (2009) and *Axe Giant: The Wrath of Paul Bunyan* (2013), which he also co-wrote and produced.

In 2021 he wrote, produced and directed the action film *Escape from Death Block 13*. Jones has received one award for his work.
