As an actor, he is known for playing Sergeant Tony Wilton in the series *Soldier Soldier* (1991–1994) and Jimmy McClaren in *Grange Hill* (1984). His film roles include Steve in *The Krays* (1990), a detective in *Essex Boys* (2000), Ned in *Paranoid* (2000), Edward in *Russian Dolls* (2005) and Jeff in *Stoned* (2005).
