Gary Mallaber is an American musician and actor. Born on 11 October 1946 in Buffalo, he began playing drums in the local band Raven and later became known as a drummer, percussionist, songwriter and session musician, notably with the Steve Miller Band.

In 1974 he appeared in the film *Phantom of the Paradise*, credited as Band, and performed on its soundtrack. He has also contributed to soundtracks for other films including *Bugsy Malone* (1976) and *Honey, I Shrunk the Kids* (1989), and worked in music departments on projects such as *That Thing You Do!* (1996).
