## Biography

Gary Tieche is a writer and producer working primarily in American television. His credits include writing episodes of the Apple TV+ series *Sugar* (2024), for which he also served as an executive producer.

He created and wrote the Irish series *Clean Sweep* (2023) and contributed as a writer to *Preacher* (2016–2019), *I Know What You Did Last Summer* (2021) and *Obliterated* (2023). Earlier work includes the screenplay for the feature film *The First $20 Million Is Always the Hardest* (2002) and creating the medical drama *MDs* (2002).

Tieche began his career with writing credits on television films such as *NightScream* (1997) and *Tribute* (2009), and he has also worked as a cinematographer on several independent features in the 1990s.
