## Biography

Gary Ungar is a film and television producer. He began his credited work in the industry as executive producer on the 2003 horror film *Gothika* and followed this with *Modigliani* (2004).

Ungar has collaborated extensively with Guillermo del Toro. He served as executive producer on the television series *The Strain* (2014–2017) and on the anthology series *Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities* (2022). He was a producer on the stop-motion animated feature *Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio* (2022), which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2023.
