## Biography

Gavin Cullen is a British composer, writer, director and producer. With Will McGillivray he forms the duo BLACKSANDS PRODUCTIONS, whose work includes the soundtrack to Babak Anvari's *Under the Shadow* (2016).

Cullen composed the music for the short film *Two & Two* (2011) and directed and produced episodes of the television series *MTV Live Sessions* (2008–2013). He is credited as writer on the short *The Call* (2016). He received a BAFTA nomination for his work on *Under the Shadow*.
