Geir Hartly Andreassen is a Norwegian cinematographer. Born on 22 November 1971 in Bergen, he is based in Stockholm, Sweden. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cinematography from the University College of Film (Dramatiska Institutet), where he studied under Sven Nykvist.

His feature credits include *The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones* (2013), *Kon-Tiki* (2012), *Max Manus: Man of War* (2008), *The 12th Man* (2017) and *Darling* (2007). He has also worked on television series such as *Occupied* (2015) and *Post Mortem: No One Dies in Skarnes* (2021). Andreassen is a member of the Swedish Society of Cinematographers (FSF).

He has received several awards for his work, including the Guldbagge Award for Best Cinematography for *Darling* (2007) and the Amanda Award for *Max Manus: Man of War* (2009).
