## Biography

Genevieve Butler is an American editor and actress. She began her career as a child actor, appearing as Mary Kennesaw in the 1997 film *Deceiver*. She later moved into post-production, working as an assistant editor on series including *The Purge* (2019), *Cruel Summer* (2021) and *Them* (2021).

Butler has edited episodes of *Yellowjackets* (2023–2025) and *Tell Me Lies* (2022–2026), as well as the feature *Vikes* (2017, as Genevieve C. Butler). She is the daughter of cinematographer Bill Butler and sister of actress Chelsea Butler.
