## Biography

Geoffrey Erb (28 December 1945 – 20 June 2013) was an American cinematographer. Born in Floral Park, Long Island, New York, he worked extensively in television and film from the 1970s onwards. He was a member of the American Society of Cinematographers from 1995 and was married to Patricia.

Erb served as director of photography on the pilot episode of *Law & Order* (1990). His television credits include 73 episodes of *The Equalizer* (1985–1989) and 132 episodes of *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit* (2000–2007). He contributed second-unit photography to the feature film *The Bone Collector* (1999) and worked on numerous television movies and other series.
