## Biography

Geoffrey Helman (1930–2019) was a British producer, production manager and assistant director. He entered the film industry in 1947 and worked in production roles on numerous feature films.

Helman served as production executive on *Superman* (1978) and *Superman II* (1980). He was associate producer on *The French Lieutenant's Woman* (1981), *The Passage* (1979) and *Krull* (1983), and producer on *84 Charing Cross Road* (1987) and *Black Rainbow* (1989). Other credits include executive producer on *Lion of the Desert* (1981) and associate producer on *The Doctor and the Devils* (1985).
