Geoffrey Sax (sometimes credited as Geoff Sax) is a British film and television director. He was born on 17 October 1949 in Barnet, Middlesex, England.

He began his career in the late 1970s directing comedy sketch shows such as *End of Part One* and *Cannon and Ball*. In the early 1980s he moved into drama, directing episodes of BBC series including *Bergerac* and *Lovejoy*. Later credits include *The New Statesman* (for which he won a BAFTA Television Award), the 1996 television film *Doctor Who*, *Tipping the Velvet* (2002), *White Noise* (2005), *Stormbreaker* (2006), *Frankie & Alice* (2010), *Christopher and His Kind* (2011) and episodes of *Endeavour* (2014, 2018) and *Victoria*.
