George E. Diskant (22 February 1907 – 22 February 1965) was an American cinematographer. After working as an assistant cameraman on films in the early 1930s, he advanced to director of photography. His early credits include Anthony Mann's *Desperate* (1947).

Diskant is known for his work on several film noirs, including *They Live by Night* (1949), *The Racket* (1951), *On Dangerous Ground* (1952), *The Narrow Margin* (1952), *Beware, My Lovely* (1952) and *Kansas City Confidential* (1952). Later in his career he worked extensively in television on series such as *Playhouse 90* and *The Rifleman*, receiving three Primetime Emmy nominations for cinematography.
