George Spenton-Foster (born Thomas George Spenton) was a British television director and producer. Born on 11 November 1926 in Lambeth, London, he died on 26 December 1993 in the same borough. He joined the BBC in 1948 as a call boy under the name George Spenton and later became a production assistant before being promoted to director in 1963, adopting Spenton-Foster as his professional name by the mid-1960s.

He produced anthology series including *Thirty-Minute Theatre* and worked in Australia on the short-lived series *The Link Men* (1970). As a director he is known for episodes of *Doctor Who* (1963), *Coronation Street* (1960) and *Blake's 7* (1978). For *Doctor Who* he directed the stories *Image of the Fendahl* (1977) and *The Ribos Operation* (1978). He directed four episodes of the second series of *Blake's 7* in 1979: "Weapon", "Pressure Point", "Voice from the Past" and "Gambit".

His cousin was the actress and singer Queenie Watts.
